- Of course drinking that much Coke will cause health issues. It deydrates the body, the sugar levels are crazy high and if you add that to smoking and a crappy diet, it will be an issue. Anyone who drinks that much soda of any kind needs to see a doctor.

- It is very sad that such a innocent child was killed and that one of the painted dogs had to be killed. It is also very sad that the parent put her child on that rail and didn't hold him securely. The rails are not chairs, they are markers to delineate safe vs. enclosure divides.

- The Mississippi runs thru Iowa, guess you missed class the day that was taught. I'm on the West Coast and even know that one. Just another case of down right stupidity. People think they are invincible and don't need to take any safety precautions on the water.

- So sad that she had to kill her children for whatever reason. She was 33, with kids who were 12, 13, 15, and 17. I bet she was tired of dealing with kids, didn't have the maturity or skills to really parent them and wanted to have her own life.

- Survival of the fittest. Sorry, but this man was stupid. Not only going onto 2 inches of ice, in warmer weather, and with his son, and then playing hockey on it? Hopefully his son learns a lesson from this and doesn't follow his fathers stupid choices.

- What a shame. A beautiful woman with a great talent who flushed her career and life down the drain. So, now there is an 18 year old young lady who is left with the legacy of a druggy, alchoholic mother and has a "bad boy" for a dad who also gets arrested.

- A sad loss of a child, but he was old enough to know better. How is a cop to know that its a pellet gun, a water gun, or a regular hand gun? He took it to school, he showed it and he didn't obey orders. Maybe his parents should have taught him a little more respect for authority.

- Get the book "Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons". Fantastic book for under $20. We used it to teach our children to read.

Yes. The cheer was inappropriate for the child's age.
- I think its also unnecessary to have a 6 year old on a cheer squad.
